It's been 2 days since they last me.
Currently arnav was as usual busy finding a way to propose his love to khushi.
"tring tring" khushi's phone beeped while she was busy searching working on a project of her media agency.
She looked at the screen to know who was calling and it displayed her best friend lavanya's name.
She clicked the green button accepting the call and soon she heard her lavanya's loud "hiii khushi" her voice was filled with excitement and huge amount of joy.
"yes la tell what happened ?" she asked with a frown a little irritated to be disturbed during work.
Yes , Khushi kumara gupta was a joyous and happy girl who got angry rarely and likes to make everyone smile and is also crazy. But when she is doing her work she is purely professional. It doesn't mean that she is strict..no she is friendly. But to manage the media house as the head is not an easy task. This media house was made and has reached among top media houses due to the hard work and struggle of her dad and she doesn't want to disappoint him in any way. '
"OMG guess what...NK proposed me today !!" la was really excited to share this news with her best friend. In fact khushi is the first person she wants to share this new with.
And all the work and irritation to being disturbed was liked flied into air and khushi was filled with happiness for her best friend. "when did that happen ...gosh I am so happy for u la" said khushi happily.
"u know today nk called me asking for a date...I was surprised as he rarely talked to me in the office but I agreed...u know na I had this big crush on him when since I saw him on my first day MK constructions...today I realized I was in love with him from the first time I saw him" la said and continued to tell how NK confessed his love for her. NK and La have been working in the same office MK constructions for around seven months now but they rarely talked only when required and that to on work related matters but la had a big crush on him since she first saw him on her first day at office and now nk reveled that he to loved her since he saw her but had realized it recently. Before he used to think he was not her type as she belonging to a rich family and only working in MK constructions as she liked this field of job would like rich guys who would spend money like water for her and on the other hand he was a middle class guy.
After lavanya finished with all her how ... he ...confessed his-love story at last she asked "did arnav try to confess his love till now?"
"nah..not now ..i have started to doubt does he even realize he loves me.. I am sure he loves me but not sure if he has realized it." She replied in a little sad tone. "don't worry khush I am sure he will confess soon"
And then the call ended as lavanya had to go somewhere and then khushi leaned back at the chair and closed her eyes.
She remembered the day she became sure of his feeling for her'when he was so unusually close to her and their proximity was immensely affecting her.
Flashback :
They were in a party hosted by maan singh khurana and geet singh khurana. MK Constructions was given the project to construct a new office of AR designs in delhi and so arnav was invited to the party. It was maan and geets wedding anniversary.
He had come with khushi. Lavanya and nk were also there as they were employee's in that company. Also arnav and Maan were friends not very close one but friends as MK designs had being given the job of construction of many of AR offices in many places.
They both were enjoying the party interacting with different people many of them they knew.
By mistakenly the waiter spilt juice over khushi's anarkali dress while he was walking around serving people. Khushi moved around trying to find a washroom when she entered a room and saw arnav talking to someone on his phone...back facing her.
He quickly disconnected the call and turned around to find khushi staring at him.
Khushi tough was going to the washroom but when she saw arnav she was not able look away..she knew the reason.
She loved him. She realized few days ago but never confessed as she thought that arnav considered her only as a friend and she didn't want to spoil this beautiful friendship.
He looked at her and suddenly started moving towards her and she saw something different and strange in his eyes which she had never seen before in his eyes. There was always love for her in his eyes but that was the love a friend had for his friend but this time it was different. There was possessiveness and also desire, one which she had never seen before in his eyes.
She didn't know when he closed the door behind her and she was pinned to the closed door within minutes. And then he was so close to her. And then he cupped her face with both hands and leaned forward. She didn't know why he was doing this but she didn't stop him, she just closed her eyes anticipating a kiss and captured the sides of her anarkali tightly. She was not in her senses...their closeness affecting her to a great extent.
BUT...but then arnav's phone rang and he seemed to come back to his senses and move back making distance between them and turned away.
She just ran towards the washroom in that room. He heartbeat beating at a very high rate and he face turned crimson read as she realized what was going to happen ...what he was going to do.
She leaned her back on the closed door of the washroom and tried to calm her racing heart beats. At that moment she realized something.. he to loved her...her love of not one sided...it was responded. She knew he doesn't realize his love but she knew he soon will and till then she will wait.

Their arnav sat on his big leather chair in his cabin of AR designs Delhi.
He was not able to concentrate on his work.
His thoughts went back to the time he realized his love.
That day at the marriage anniversary party of maan and geet when he was almost going to kiss khushi.
He had come to this room to attend an important call as outside the noises were not letting him speak. When he was about the disconnect the call when he felt a sudden breeze a strange feeling which he nowadays felt when khushi was around
When he had turned after disconnecting the call the sight in front of him took his breath away and his heart skipped a beat.
She was looking so beautiful. He wondered why he never noticed this before. He felt attracted towards her to such an extent that he has never felt before for any other girl. All this started a few days ago only but he could not understand what it was.
He was almost going to kiss her...he was out of his senses and didn't have any idea about what he was doing.
That whole night arnav was not able to sleep. He kept on thinking about khushi and his relationship, their friendship and what had happened or what could have happened that night at the party between them. He asked himself was he in love or was just attracted towards khushi. He could not understand a single thing.
The next day he talked to his di about his feeling. She was the only person other than khushi and his ma who is no longer in this world that he could talk to about his feelings. After talking to her he came to a realization that he was in love. In love with khushi. That he can not live without her
so how can not my story have an almost kiss scene between our arshi. and so here it is ...
) and soon the results were in front of his eyes.
